Sets of presets, marked with the icons of the target or direction, have additional possibilities for customization.
Target Control
For sets marked a target icon, you can change the target of the zoom or center of rotation.
To move a target, do the following:
1 Apply the transition to your video.
2 In the active composition, select the transition layer.
3 In the After Effects Tools Bar, select the Anchor Point Tool (Y).
4 Move the anchor point of the transition layer – the center of the effect will move along with the anchor point.
Direction Control
For sets marked a direction icon, you can change the directions for pan transitions.
To change the direction of the transition, do the following:
1 Apply the transition to your video.
2 In the active composition, select the transition layer.
3 In the After Effects Tools Bar, select the Anchor Point Tool (Y).
4 Move the anchor point of the transition layer – the transition direction will change by tracking the vector of the anchor point.
